MMMM Buick Rainier or Cadi Escalade

Im on the fence, and need you to push me off please. I have a 23 foot Starcraft boat and trailer, with Mercruiser 5 litre Bravo III outdrive - specs says altogether it weighs 5500 pounds, me and the wife and kids eat lots of burgers, so add some more to that GVW. I have in my sights a 2004 Buick Rainier with 5.3 V8 rated for 6500 pounds ( with 20,000 miles on odometer ), and she is up against a 2002 Cadi Escalade SUV, with a big ole Vortec 6.0 litre block rated for over 8000 pounds ( 60,000 miles on the odometer ). Love the Cadi, but the Rainier cheaper on fuel, but the Cadi is soooo nice inside, any wise words to lean me one way or the other. Thanks for your time...
